Hymnals are available to be checked out at both St. Peter’s and St. John’s.

At St. Peter’s, enter the narthex. Hymnals and a checkout sheet are on the moveable coffee stand.

At St. John’s, enter the west door of the Parish Hall. You will not have access to the rest of the buildling; hymnals will be in the entry foyer.

We recommend that you act quickly, as we are expecting a “safer at home” order over the next few hours.

The narthex at St. Peter’s, Forestville is currently unlocked and open for those of you who wish to come and check out a hymnal. Hymnals are located on the moveable coffee stand by the bookshelves. We have hear word that Wisconsin will announce a “safer at home” policy beginning tomorrow, so we encourage you to come and get a hymnal as soon as you are able.

Please sign out any hymnals that you take. There are also a number of other religious books that are in the same location. Feel free to take and keep these.

There is also a collection box for those who wish to drop off their gifts and offerings.

If you are a member at St. John’s, we will be getting a hymnal checkout station available early this afternoon.

If you live within the village of Forestville or the immediate area, you may have heard three single tolls from the St. Peter’s church bells. Why church bells on a weekday morning?

Most mornings around 9:00 AM, Pastor Chris intends to pray the Office of Matins in the church building. If you hear those bells, it means that Pastor Chris is beginning his prayers. You can be assured that as he prays, he will be praying for our leaders, our health care workers, for the sick, for the bereaved, and for you.

We hope that this brings you a measure of comfort and hope in these trying times.

Peace in Christ to you!
