Today’s theme was “Jesus Saves Me.”  We learned about Jesus rescuing Peter from drowning in the sea and memorized Matthew 14:27: “Jesus said, ‘Take heart. It is I. Do not be afraid.'”

Did your child have a great time at Vacation Bible School?  We sent home registration letters to enroll your child in our Sunday School, which begins in September.  The learning and fun will continue throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring!  We would love for you to enroll your child.

Today’s theme was “Jesus Keeps Me Safe.”  We memorized Romans 1:8  (“Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.“), learned about Jesus calming the wind and the waves, played some fun games, sang some great songs, and made some unique crafts. Check out the pictures from today!

Today’s themes was “Jesus teaches me.” We memorized Psalm 25:5 (“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are my God and my salvation.”) and learned about Jesus calling Peter, James, and John to be fishers of men.

We had a great first day at Gangway to Galilee Vacation Bible School! Lots of excited children, great helpers, substantial curriculum, and dedicated teachers made for a fantastic start.

The 1975 Anniversary Booklet has been added to our digital archives.  It is another one of those publications which offers a slice of life of the church at that time, and a colorful time it was, indeed!  Check it out to take in information on the history of the congregation and to see some of the fun fashions and hairstyles of that era!

This morning we added a new page to our website: a Digital Archive!  Saint Peter’s has a rich history, and we are proud to show it to the world.

The first artifact in our Digital Archive is a PDF of our 1949 Church Building Dedication booklet.  It is one of the most treasured publications in the history of Saint Peter’s, and it gives a great “slice of life” for both the congregation and the community at the time.
