Jean Jome, 90, of Forestville, passed away on Dec. 2, 2016.  She was born Oct. 1, 1926 to Clarence and Elsie (Kramer) Toppe.  On June 12, 1948, she married Sylvester H. Jome in Forestville.  He preceded her in death on May 3, 1990.

Jean and her husband farmed for many years in the Town of Forestville.  In their younger years, they loved going to dances together.   Jean also enjoyed flower gardening.

Survivors include 2 children, Mark (Doris) Jome, Franklin, WI; and Cheryl Jome, Forestville, WI; 2 grandchildren, Lauren (Andrew) Miller and Lisa Jome; 2 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gabriel Miller; cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and numerous in-laws.

Friends may call at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Forestville on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.   Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Christopher Jackson.  Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Forbes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
