Forestville – Carol E. Krueger, 76, Forestville, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at the Door County Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1941 in Algoma, to Leonard and Leone (Krueger) Schley.

Carol was a graduate from the Algoma High School. After high school she worked as a secretary at Plumbers Woodworking for many years. Carol enjoy her precious time with her family and friends, cooking and baking. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild Society and was a Sunday School teacher at St. Peter’s for many years.

Carol married Donald Krueger at St. John’s Church in Rankin on April 14, 1967.

She is survived by her husband Donald, one son Todd (Janice) Krueger, Luxemburg; one granddaughter Katie, her brother Bob (Nila) Schley, Forestville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may gather at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Forestville, Monday January 1, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Christopher Jackson officiating. Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, assisted the family with arrangements.
