Roy Andrew Schlise, 91, Forestville, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Algoma Long Term Care with his family at his side. He was born Jan. 4, 1924 in Forestville to Henry and Matilda (Plinske) Schlise.

Roy married Geraldine Uecker in Forestville on May 10, 1952. They farmed on the family farm in Kewaunee County and also worked for Mark Schlise Implement for many years and then retired from Peterson Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay.

Roy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geraldine, one son Jeffrey (Debbie) Schlise, Green Bay; one daughter Pam (Randy) Gulseth, Two Rivers; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Donald and one sister Bernice Krueger.

A memorial service will take place Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Forestville at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Chris Jackson officiating. There will be no gathering before the service. A lunch will be provided after the service.
