Come out for a youth group meeting on Wednesday, May 3 at 7:00 PM at St. John’s, Rankin. This meeting is for all youth grades 8-12. Come to the meeting even if you aren’t attending the summer mission trip!
At this meeting, we will:
If you are attending the summer mission trip, your attendance is required.
We will be continuing with our Midweek Bible Study beginning on Wednesday, April 26 at 11:00 AM. This will be held at St. John’s, Rankin. We will be studying the Book of Psalms.
All members are invited to attend Confirmation Examination. This will be held at our sister congregation, St. John’s in Rankin, on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:00 PM.
We’re hoping for a nice, full Palm Sunday procession this Sunday at St. Peter’s in Forestville.
It’s a fun and meaningful tradition, when the children march down the aisle of the church with palms in their hands. Make sure to get your kids into church this weekend for the procession!
The children will be singing a song at the end of the procession, so please make sure they come to Sunday School to practice the song as well.
Sunday School is at 9:00 AM and church with the Palm Sunday procession is at 10:00 AM.
Lent is a time of increased attentiveness to the Word of God and prayer. Our Midweek services help you in that. Service is at 7:15 PM on Wednesday and is preceded by a meal at 6:15 PM. If it works better for you, St. John’s in Algoma has a service at noon.
Did you know that St. Peter’s has an e-giving solution? You can even schedule your contributions to be made automatically. Your regular giving empowers St. Peter’s in its work for the sake of the Gospel. You can give electronically here: http://www.saintpetersforestville.org/e-giving/
Registrations for the 2023 Youth Mission Trip by Sunday, March 19.
Young people who attend this trip regularly report that this is one of the best things they have done in high school. We will work hard, accomplish great things, make new friends, and have fun experiences far out of the ordinary.
The mission trip is scheduled for June 3-10. More details, along with sign up materials, can be found by clicking here.
We want your young person on this trip, and they will be glad they went.
Finally, we are still looking for people interested in being a female chaperone.
